Statement of Faith

We wholeheartedly believe: 

1. In the supernatural and plenary inspiration of the Scriptures, that their teaching and authority are absolute, supreme and final (2 Timothy 3:16).

2. In the Trinity of the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 3:16-17, Mathew 28:19).

3. In the personality of God; the personality and deity of Jesus Christ, begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very Man; the personality of the Holy Spirit (John 1:1-2, John 1:14, John 16:13-14, Luke 1:26-35).

4. In the resurrection of Jesus Christ; that His body was raised from the dead according to the Scripture, and that He ascended into Heaven and sits on the right hand of God as believer's advocate (Luke 24:6-7, Luke 24:37-39, Acts 1:9-11, Hebrews 10:12, 1 John 2:1).

5. In the sinfulness of man: that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, are totally depraved and need a Savior from sin (Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Psalms 51:5).

6. In the Atonement: that Jesus Christ became the sinner's sacrifice before God and died as the propitiation or payment for the sins of the whole world (2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 3:25, John 3:17).

7. In the necessity of the new birth; salvation is by grace through faith and not of works, saving faith will maintain good works in the life of the believer (John 3:3-5, Ephesians 2:8-10).

8. In the literal resurrection of the body, both of the just and the unjust (1 John 3:2, Luke 14:14, John 5:28-29).

9. In the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost (John 14:1-3, Revelation 21:1, Revelation 22:7, Revelation 14:10-11).

10. In the evangelization of the world: the supreme mission of the church in this age is to preach the Gospel to all mankind (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8).

11. In the Second Coming of Christ according to the Scripture (Acts 1:11; 1 Thess 4:13-17; Titus 2:13).
